Nice size but almost useless
a year ago
On my 4th in 3 years!!! Each has Worked or about a year!
Then communication with GDO is intermittent until it doesnt work at all! Seems to be a transmitter issue. Batteries are fine.
I think there is an issue as canadian tire was selling them cheap! Still have one left!

Freedom from old push pad headache

Honestly didn't think a keychain remote for our '90s opener would be out there. Programming remote was a bit tricky but persistence paid off. Adult son got step stool to reach button on opener to complete connection and it worked! Remote is a bit bulky compared to remote care starter, but the price was right.

Q: Will this work to replace a broken Linear DTK remote. The Linear remote is 312 MHz and is compatible with their DT and DTC models. This remote has 8 dip-switches inside to set the code. This old Linear remote dates back to around 1990.

A: In the past Linear used 310 MHz and 318 MHz which this remote control supports. If it is running 312 MHz it may be close enough that it may work. I suggest trying it and see if it works.

Q: Am I crazy or is the holder pictured upside-down? Even if it clips in, the clip will eventually wear and it will simply fall out. Obviously don't post this question, unless you really want to.

A: Yes the picture is upside down, it was placed like that to show the logo. When the bracket and remote are mounted on the wall, the logo label would be upside down, but when you have the remote attached to your keys and are holding it in your hands the logo would be facing you correctly. Also note, we don’t have the red colour anymore; they are now a dark charcoal gray colour.
