Bought for my mother & it's very easy for her to operate with large buttons on front. I preset the radio to her fav stations & she can increase volume and turn on/off easily.

There are not that many clock radios on the market these days, so choice is limited. This one got our attention because it is compact and looks cool. You can plug it in or use batteries as a power source. It works well in every way. It is pretty finicky to program, and in that respect is not as user-friendly as we would like.

A: I had the same problem so I returned it to Canadian Tire and got a Timex Alarm Clock that is simple to set up and works great.

Q: Does anyone know how to set (reset) the time? I've tried pressing single buttons and different combinations of buttons and nothing I've tried works. Help, anyone?

A: There is no "SET" button. Alternatively, You can do this way. After you unscrew the battery part on the back and take out the round CR type battery and put it back and screw again. Then you can see the time setting is blinking. That means you can use volume up or down button to set the time now. Actually, I did it 12 am ( or pm ), because the resetting time begin with 12:00 ......That makes make easier.

Q: I've read all the answers below - but still have no idea how to set the time on this thing. There is NO SET BUTTON. If I'm wrong, please send a picture of it. My mother lost the manual for this thing and I'm trying to set the time for her.

A: Answering my own question: The set button is actually the second button from the left. Press and hold it -- and you will see the year. Once the year appears, you simply press that button again to cycle through the settings until the time appears -- and then press left/right buttons to change the time. (Found the manual which we thought was lost.)

A: Hello Tarameal, Setting preset stations The unit can preset 20 stations in total for AM/FM station 1. Tune to a station. 2. Press and hold the MEM/M+ button until “P01” (or the next available preset slot) shows on the display. 3. Press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to select a preset number (P01-P10). 4. Press the SET button to confirm. The preset station has been set up. 5. Press the MEM/M+ button repeatedly while listening to the radio to select a preset station. Alternatively, press the MEM/M+ button once and then press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to select a preset station.

A: You will need to push the ALARM 1 and/or the ALARM 2 buttons. The ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 lights on the front panel indicate when the alarm is turned off.
