Effective on kitchen grease

I used this product on built-up grease on my kitchen range hood. What a difference! All the grime came off with hot water and some elbow grease. I will not need to spend extra cash replacing the meshing (grease catchers) over the fans as they now look brand new! Pleased that it's a biodegradable product.

I've been using Simple Green for years. I now buy the Max strength stuff, and dilute as needed. Great for cleaning and degreasing auto parts, household items, the kitchen even my hands!

Q: Is it safe on car paint?

A: Simple Green Cleaner and Degreaser is safe for automotive paint. If there are any special coatings or clear coat you might want to spot test first. Always be sure to rinse thoroughly before the product dries.

Q: Trainmission oil leak on asphalt drieway , what product should I use

A: We have used Simple Green MAX successfully on many occasions to clean transmission fluid, brake fluid, oil and most anything else that leaks out of a car or truck onto our concrete shop floor. As ashphalt is more pourous and an oil based product MAX will be fairly effective allowing you to remove most of the transmission oil depending on the age of your driveway and how it was installed (density of the material). I recommend a heavy spray application and a stiff brush to work it in, leave it to work for a couple of minutes, then wipe with a cotton cloth or rag. It should remove most of the fluid stain however may leave some residual.

Q: can you use this product on fabric? We have a baby oil stain on our outdoor furniture that won't come out.

A: Simple Green MAX will work on outdoor fabric so long as the stain isn't too dried and set. For vinyl based outdoor fabic you might try it in conjuction with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser pad.

A: Will not harm automotive paint however it will leave a light film that will require hand buffing. I don't recommend it for use on automotive paint as there are several paint-specific cleaners designed and tested effective for this application.
