Q: How good are these for removing wax?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Steve. If you are looking for a towel specifically to remove the haze after applying a wax to your vehicle, we would suggest using the Simoniz Platinum Wax & Shine towels (CTC # 039-6675-8) as its textured weave is specifically designed to pull away the haze left behind after waxing. While the Simoniz Platinum plush microfibre towels can do the job, they are more so designed for buffing, cleaning or drying delicate surfaces. If you are looking for a towel to clean a dirty vehicle that has a “waxy” exterior film, while these towels will work, please use an appropriate cleaner with the towel. Do not attempt to wipe a dirty surface with a dry towel.
