This is the 3rd time I have used the bags, and although I think the bag is adequate for it's purpose, there is a defect in the shop vac which does not allow for the bag to be properly installed resulting in the bag breaking down (and wearing through) at the point of connection. The connection nozzle inside the vacuum should be pointing down, but instead points to the side, and can't be rotated. This results, I believe, in excessive wear on the inside of the bag eventually wearing through, long before the bag is full. A stronger interior liner inside bag around the nozzle would help alleviate this deficiency in the vacuum cleaner, as would an adjustable nozzle. Alternatively a properly installed nozzle (or one which rotates, without leaking air (or dust)) would also eliminate this problem.

A: Yes, this product is the correct high efficiency drywall filter bag for your 22.7 L Wet/Dry Vacuum. If you are vacuuming fine dust, or powders of any kind please ensure that you are always using this filter bag (054-0212). Q: will the high efficiency filter bag alone be enough to protect the vacuum from drywall dust or is it necessary to have the hepa filter as well?

A: You should also use a cartridge filter over the filter cage. They could be the 9034000, 9035000, or 9030700.

Q: Which filter is for Genie 19L / 4 Gal wet / dry vacuum?

A: In the old Genie units our Collector bags should work with most Genie Brand vacuums that have tank inlets, however our Cartridge filters were incompatible. The bags that would most likely be compatible with this unit are the 54-0150 Household collector bag or the 54-0212 High efficiency collector bag.
