ShelterLogic Pop-up canopy

Canopy was exactly what I hoped for. Sturdy construction, easy assembly. Our last one lasted almost 10 years, the velcro attaching strips were finally wearing out. Definitely planned on staying with ShelterLogic for value and quality.

No exchange and Spare parts not available

I bought this tent couple weeks ago and only enjoyed for two days. Two days after installation, sudden thunderstorm in Toronto area ripped it from ground (properly secured) and threw it to my neighbor's backyard over the fence. Luckily, no one was hurt. Frame got damaged and pipes were bent, but Cover is still ok. Unable to exchange at Canadian Tire since they won't cover it due to damage caused by mother-nature. I tried to get spare parts or frame but nothing available in market.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not worth the Price!!

Not worth the price. It’s not as sturdy has other one we had, we bought this last minute for an event. And from the minute we started setting it up we had troubles. Don’t waste your money. It’s not as strong as it looks.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Best pop up canopy going!

I’ve had this tent for over 15 years and it has never failed me! I’m just now needing to reseal the stitches on the Velcro peak vents for minor dripping in heavy rains.

Good value for instant tenting

I have purchased many pop-up tents over the years and I was happy to see that this one withstood a torrential downpour during our outside (Covid forced) summer party. Very quick set up if you have at least 4 people to help. I was able to take it down with just the two of us. Surprising it fit back into the carrying bag it came in with no fuss. It is quite heavy but that speaks more to quality. For the price, it was worth it.

Q: Does it need to be anchored to the ground? And if so, how?

A: I bought these canopies for our church last year. But with COVID19, we weren't able to use them so I don't really know if they can be anchored to the ground or not. However, if you look closely at the photo, you will notice that the bottom of each pole has a circular or squarish base. I would think these have holes in them whereby you can insert tent pegs / stakes if installed on grass area. I hope this helps.
