EXCELLENT PRODUCTS..I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL OF THESE IN VARIOUS SIZES OVER THE YEARS. THEY HOLD UP WELL EVEN HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA ... HURRICANE ALLEY...ANCHOR THEM DOWN AS PER THE INCLUDED INSTRUCTIONS AND NO ISSUES.

Wind? What Wind

The recent purchase of a Shelter Logic 10x16x8 was short lived. Installed to specification and properly screwed to the ice. Out Shelter lasted only on day when Mondays wind event not only pulled apart the cover, but managed to make the entire structure look like a pretzle. A few modifications would have increased the viability of the structure; the incorporation of angled tubes such as existed at the entrance to the unit may have increased its durability, but alas that was not the case.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The installation is straight forward and well detailed. The quality of all the parts and pieces is very good. The only frustrating thing is that you need to disassemble so much to install the front and rear wall covers as well as the main cover. It would also be good if there were some built in vents.

door roll up poles not included

This is standard shelter logic quality but roll up poles are not included. I have a different 13 foot wide shelter which included poles which slid in a sleeve at the door bottom. This newer shelter has the sleeves but no poles making it virtually impossible for one person to role it up. in addition there is no attaching mechanism at the top to hold the door in place. Customer service advised me that there are no poles included with this shelter although I informed them that there were 4 extra 2 foot leg extensions that belong with a ten foot high shelter.....serving no purpose with this package since the diameter exceeds the diameter of the sleeve. I will find a suitable plastic pipe to insert in the sleeve and use a bungy cord of sorts to hold it open. Otherwise happy with the shelter, but this is a problem which should and could be addressed....time will tell

Q: I have a very tight spot 18 x 11.5 ft. I'm wondering whether the 10x16x8 ShelterLogic will fit in. My measurements say yes. But it depends on the accuracy of the product dimensions provided. How accurate are they?
