Q: Hello. it this oil good for my Suzuki King Quad which takes Gear and Wet brake oil in the rear transmission/differential. Suzuki recommends "Suzuki ECSTAR Gear and Wet Brake Oil 990A0-01E70-01Q". Is Shell spirax S4 TXM the same thing. tks

A: Hello Honda1frank, Shell Spirax S4 TXM is a Premium SAE 10W-30 Multi-functional Tractor Transmission and Hydraulic Oil not suitable for a motorcycle. For Gear and Wet brake oil in the rear transmission/differential Advance 4T Ultra 10W-40 is the recommended product. You would need to compare TDS attached and owner’s manual to ensure specifications and recommendations from the manufacture are met.

A: The Shell Spirax S4 TXM is not suitable for application in a 2003 Ford Escape XLT. Shell does not sell the appropriate product for this vehicle at CTC retail.
