Shark Rotator Powered 3-in-1 Lift Away TruePet Vacuum

I waited 6 months before posting a review. I purchased this to replace the piece of junk red devil plastic ones (that I thought would be good enough until I replaced most of my carpets with hardwood). I chose this model over the british ball vacuums due to better price and reviews (all the negative reviews I read about the ball vacuums). I love the LED floor lights, suction, ease of cleaning the vacuum out and versatility. And I haven't even begun to use all of the extras that came with it. This vacuum offers a HUGE bang for your buck.

I bought this vacuum a few months ago. I love it! I'd give it 5 stars but it has a couple of design issues. Pros: Excellent suction. Large power head picks up everything off of a carpet. It is a quieter vacuum. Small pet power head is fantastic. It pulls hair off furniture and carpeted stairs with ease. Easy to empty & clean filters. Cons: The bare floor attachment is cumbersome and flimsy. You can't get around in small spaces so I never use it. Needs a regular old style floor brush and it would be excellent. The large power head on the bare floor position doesn't pick up dirt very well. Lastly when the power cord wraps up, it lands on the up swing so to speak. With gravity & wear, the plug-hug will not hug the cord & end up dangling to the floor. Although you can do the 1st wrap around the clips that hold the canister to have it land on the down swing as a quick fix. The cord 1-2 ft longer or shorter would solve this challenge. In all, the vacuum was well worth the money as it has a 7 year warranty from Shark.

I recently purchased this vacuum after owning a dyson ball pet vacuum for 3 years. If you compare the 2 vacuums this shark vacuum is far superior and cheaper. I purchased my dyson for close to $700.00 and it was repaired twice in the first year, suction is now non existent, the hose is broken and the cord is broken at the base so it will no longer turn on without repair. Instead of the hassles, I researched and purchased this shark that is far better than my old dyson. Its easier to manoeuvre , more features, suction is way better, the hose and cord is way longer, it also has 2 lights on both the hose and bottom of the vacuum. The light for some may seem minor and useless but it shows everything I am missing and all the dog hair i cant see on my light floors. My dyson had no way to switch from hard wood to carpet it was all just 1 level no option to switch, this has 3 setting and the shark vacuums hard wood 100% better than a dyson. This vacuum switches from an upright to a pull behind or just carry it away. It also comes with so many attachments and a hardwood floor piece to wipe hardwood. I have not owned the vacuum long however out of box and first month of uses shows its superiors to my old dyson. I vacuum daily due to 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 children under the age of 6. Out of box I was not impressed with my dyson, I love this shark. Dont make the mistake i did buying an over priced dyson.

If the unit worked - I'd write a good review..out of the box, I rec'd a lemon - while Shark IS going to send replacement items, they're ALL on backorder & this purchase was to remedy ANOTHER unit whose warranty parts are also on backorder

I bought this vacuum because my old one finally packed it in. What a treat. My dog is a collie cross and his hair is great at working itself into the carpet fibers. I bought a pet vacuum because my built-in couldn't get the hair out at all. Not sure why. Bought a small upright and it was a bit better, but I'd still have to make 5 or 6 passes (if not more) to get the hair out. I put this vacuum together, turned it on, one pass was all it took. A total beast with pet hair! I love it - can't say enough kind things about it!
