A: The 436799 is the Shark Rotator Professional upright vacuum which features: -rated for commercial use -extended reach for above floor cleaning -enhanced swivel steering -XL dust cup capacity -turbo brush The 436749 is the Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away upright vacuum which features: -Lift-Away design allows the dust cup/motor portion of the body to be lifted off of the powerhead allowing for light/easy mobility – great for above floor cleaning and stairs! -enhanced swivel steering -XL dust cup capacity -turbo brush Both vacuums offer great cleaning performance. The primary difference/trade off between the 2 is that one offers an easy mobility “lift-away” functionality, while the other offers extended reach and commercial rating.
