This steel-cased chest safe offers peace of mind for those wanting to protect important items from both fire and water damage. Tested to protect contents for up to an hour in temperatures reaching 1700°F, and to keep the interior below 350°F, this safe can shield digital media and documents through flash fires and up to five inches of flooding. The three sizable locking bolts, pry-resistant hinge bar, and steel construction further fortify this durable safe. The touchpad keypad and backlit display make for easy setup and access in any lighting conditions.
SentrySafe Digital Fire/Water Safe is UL Classified to protect in a fire for 1-hour up to 1700°F (927°C), the safe interior will remain below 350°F (177°C)
UL Classified Explosion Hazard Test: Subjected to a flash fire in a 2000°F (1093°C) furnace for 30 minutes the unit will not explode or rupture
ETL Verified water resistance to protect in up to 5" (12.7 cm) of water up to 24 hours
ETL Verified to protect digital media such as tablets, phones, external hard drives, memory sticks/cards, USB drives etc. in a fire for 1-hour up to 1700°F (927°C)
ETL Verified to withstand a 15' (4.6 m) drop to ensure contents remain intact and the safe closed upon impact
Pry-resistant hinge bar provides protection from forced entry
Digital locking mechanism with backlit re-programmable touch key pad
3 large 1" (2.5 cm) locking door bolts (60% bigger than traditional safes)

4 years agoA: The battery compartment is located on the outside of the safe. It is a part of/hidden behind the digital key pad and therefore you will never be locked out of your safe due to no/low battery.
