The compact Scotty Mini Power Grip Plus lets you hold your fishing line firmly in place, thanks to its soft padded jaws that grip the line between non-slip surfaces. Measuring just over two inches long, this stacking line release attaches easily to weights or leaders with its self-locating snap. Adjusting the release tension is simple - slide the fishing line further into the jaws for more grip, or pull it out slightly for a looser hold. Perfect for anglers looking for an ultra portable yet powerful line release that helps prevent tangles and slips, allowing you to focus on catching the big one.

This is the second one I have bought. We have lost two of these in the last couple of years as they can drop odd your mail line if raised to high. I am going to try to put a float on this in the future which may help in retrieval if it pops off
