Doesn't Work

Doesn't work, which is the conclusion of most reviews. I followed instructions, including watering, and did two applications 6 days apart. Seems to be the only product on on the market. At the price, it's a rip off. Is Scotts guilty of false advertising?

Application timing is crucial for control of grubs. For optimum control, apply from adult flight through egg hatch of the primary targeted insect pest species. Repeat application will need to be made but no more than 3 applications per year. Repeat applications need to be made a minimum of 7 days apart but spacing out more will extend control.

3 years ago the skunks ripped up almost half my lawn. So I have been putting this down since then and there are no more skunk landscapers. You've got to give it time and use it twice a year and throughly water it in and you'll get results. Use it and give it time.

Q: Can I apply Grub B Gone Max on a newly seeded lawn? New grass has just starting to grow.

A: grub b gone should be applied and rain soon after as it goes into the ground to stop the grubs. There should be no issue putting on freshly seeded lawn as the granules go into the ground. Grub B Gone needs to be applied in early spring and then late summer.

Q: Hi there. Any idea regarding the safety of using this when you are on a well for water? Want to make sure we will not cause harm to our water system by using this.

A: As long as the well is not subject to surface water run off, there should really be no concern about using Scotts Grub B Gon MAX on the lawn.

A: Unfortunately, it did not kill off or even reduce the number of grubs in my lawn. There’s a money back guarantee that I haven’t received from Scott’s as well. So it’s not worth it.

A: Scotts Grub B Gon Grub Killer is not registered for use ornamental gardens. It can be applied up to the edge of the garden or ornamental plants in the lawn, but should not be applied in the garden.

A: Yes it is. It’s a natural way. I just keep the dog off of the lawn after I apply and soak the lawn with water.
