Will see if it works. Put on two coats. The smell is chemically and you can still smell it in the vehicle after 3 weeks albeit not as bad.

This product seems to be doing what it is designed to do. The scent that it has when applied, is a little strong, however, after about one or two days, the scent dissappears .

Q: How long does it take to dry?

A: At average room temperature (21° Celsius, 50% humidity), your car fabric and upholstery should dry overnight, but make sure to check before you start using treated surfaces again. When it’s colder or more humid, it might take longer for your surfaces to dry. Ventilating your car by opening windows will help Scotchgard™ Auto Protector dry faster. If you’re just drying between coats, 2 – 4 hours is usually sufficient

A: Thank you for asking. For wall to wall carpeting, we recommend Scotchgard™ Rug & Carpet Protector. Spray one light coat on dry clean surface in well ventilated area. If applying in a high traffic area, apply a second coat lightly after ensuring the first is fully dried.

Q: How long does an application last? Does this product need to be re-applied several times per year (like exterior wax), or is one 'coating' sufficient to treat the fabric?
