I doubted this kit at the beginning but my son force me to by it. You need to be very careful while adjusting it to the dash but it fit perfectly!

Poor fit

purchased this for my 2008 f350, it clearly states that it works with my vehicle on the packaging and appears to be when unpacked. had to be trimmed, redrilled and shimmed to get it to fit OK at best. Save your money and buy a good kit.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: If installing a single DIN stereo the recommended stereo install kit for your vehicle would be the FD2080. You can use the FD3090 for both a single DIN and double DIN install on a 1997 Ford Ranger, but the FD2080 would be the easier kit to assemble if installing a single DIN stereo.
