We purchased the car seat it was on clearance. When we open the box the car seat had food and milk stains all over it! We were told that we could not return the car seat. Disgusting

Difficult Straps to Tighten

The harness straps on this car seat are very difficult to tighten in both the rear facing and forward facing positions. Also does not look comfortable for my daughter when she naps in it while driving. Wish I spent the extra money to buy a better brand to avoid the constant struggle.

Q: How to install this car seat for stage 1, rear facing, in a Chev Equiinox 2011 SUV? We find the belt to attach the car hooks is too short. Any help appreciated.

A: Hello, thank you for your question. Typically, we find that when the UAS belt appears too short, it is simply routed incorrectly. Q: Does this car seat meet criteria to use on an airplane? And what is the weight of the seat?

A: The car seat can be used in an airplane when it is used rear facing or forward facing with the airplane seat belt. It cannot be used as a booster seat, because the child would have to use a lap/shoulder belt with the booster, and an airplane is not equipped with a shoulder belt. See the installation instructions attached .

Q: fit into old VW Golf with no tether attachments? Hi, need a 3-in-1 car seat to fit into VW Golf '98 which does not have the newer harness attachments. Seat needs to allow for seat belt to run through the bottom of it to attach. Please confirm that this seat would be compatible & safely installed?

A: Dorel Distribution Canada can assure customers that the Safety First Enspira 3-in-1 Car Seat #22410CAUA meets the new federal Motor Vehicle Restraint System and Booster Seats Safety Regulations (CMVSS) that came into effect Jan 1, 2012. It is not possible for the public to distinguish an “old” from a “new” car seat.
