A: Yes, Rust-Oleum RockSolid Clear Top Coat can be used on interior wood floor surfaces. You will want to make sure that the surface is clean, dry, and sanded with 60/80 grit sandpaper prior to application. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3

Q: can you use this product on an epoxy painted floor

A: Yes, Rock Solid can be applied to an epoxy coating that has been well cleaned, and sanded with 60 grit sandpaper first. In rare instances, there are epoxies that are labeled as "unpaintable" or that stipulate only the same epoxy can be used to recoat. In those cases, we would defer to the manufacturer of the first epoxy's instructions.

Q: Leftovers I have leftovers. Can it be used to paint the steps of the front patio?

A: Epoxies like Rock Solid Clear are very resistant, but will not fare well outside. UV light will cause severe discoloration, rendering the finish unattractive. For this reason, we only recommend the Rock Solid Coating be used inside.

A: The kit contains everything you need: - instructions manual -solution -foam roller -garage coat pouch -decorative chip. This covers up to 250 sq ft.
