I returned these because the online product review and even at the top of this review (which I didn't write) it says they could be used to anchor small rugs/mats to carpets and they cannot. The package says they have to be used on wood, tile, or linoleum. I am trying to anchor small mats to high-traffic areas on wall-to-wall carpeting (entryways). So I can't say that there is anything wrong with them, they were just the wrong product for my needs and their capability is misidentified online.

Q: Would these be suitable to secure an area rug over wall to wall? Will it ruin/mark the walk-to-wall?

  • A: Actually they were useless. After about a week the rug quit sticking to them and the rug started moving around. Not sure if only specific types of rugs stick to it, it doesn’t specify but I wouldn’t waste my money on them

Q: The package comes with five (?) thick sticky triangles which are pictured on the box, but then also a bunch of thin ones that are the same shape but less than 1mm thick. What are these for?

  • A: The Ruggies kit includes the following: 8 Rug Grip Pro pads (for 2 rugs) and 8 strips of removable tape. If this is not what is in the box, please return product to the store for an exchange.

Q: Do the grippers work with rug on carpet? A small edge of rug won't stay down.
