Love the shape, size and handle on this pitcher. Works great for my rheumatoid arthritis hands. Allows for better fit in my fridge.

Love Rubbermaid, but not these pitchers

I purchased two of these one gallon Rubbermaid pitchers in July to replace two that I had for many years that were not sealing and were leaking. These new pitchers leak just as badly. No matter how I try to align the lids they are always at an angle and they leak…badly. I like the look, the handle is great, but the leaking is terrible. I always depend on Rubbermaid, but these pitchers are a poor design. Disappointing purchase.

Great every day use pitcher.

I have used this pitcher consistently for over a year. It holds a gallon and I use the volume markings on the side to help me mix drinks. The plastic is non-toxic and easy to clean. I run mine through the dishwasher.

I wish it was the old design!

Bought this pitcher to replace one I have had for YEARS! I actually bought two, that’s how much we love it. Saw the new design and was hopeful it would be better than the last. Boy, I was wrong. The old design was a strong plastic with a sturdy lid. The new design is flimsy, thinner plastic and the lid feels like with the right drop, it will crack and break. It doesn’t feel like a good ole Rubbermaid product anymore.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The size of this picture is good and it holds a lot. However, the lid is a little sketchy. It sometimes hard to open and the handles a little bulky when you’re trying to pour.

Q: Can this container store boiling water?

A: Thank you for your interest in our products. We do not recommend to use this with hot liquids as they may cause the sides of the bottle to get very hot to the touch, or a pressure build-up in the container could cause the lid to pop open unexpectedly leading to injury or spills.
