Honestly, these were exactly what I was hoping to find. They’re the perfect colour to match brown pressure treated wood, they’re inexpensive, well put together, and they use a little poly liner to protect the reeds and rope. 5/5

Q: Is this an outdoor planter? If it is lined with plastic, how does the water drain once the plants are watered.?

A: This attractive and eye catching planter can be used indoor or outdoor. I purchased 2 for my outdoor patio. They are lined with plastic so for drainage purposes for my outdoor use, I purposefully used a large galvanized nail and poked holes throughout the plastic and when watering my plants, the water drained wonderfully well. As for use indoors, other than being careful monitoring the amount of water you use to water a plant, the water cannot drain. I hope this helps.

A: Please see vendors response: Unless you are trying to fill that basket with cement, it should have no problem holding a full allotment of soil (even when saturated). It’s hard to put an exact weight capacity on it, but if I had to guess I’d say that when completely filled with soil and soaking wet it probably gets close to 20 lbs. Regardless, under normal planting conditions, that basket (and all of our baskets) have no issues holding up under the pressure of the weight – we make sure our chains are strong enough to withstand.
