AVOID THIS PRODUCT IF YOU CARE ABOUT PH

I was have been having issues for months wondering what was going on and finally purchased a professional ph meter only to realize that the colour chart is off for this product. What the new meter measured at 6.0 would show as a dark orange with the drops which is 5.0 and what i was measuring at 6.0 with those drops was more of a 7.0
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What is the actual pH number for each of the colors on the box? It just goes from red to blue but no numbers given and the colors don't seem to match any other pH scale I can find (the red seems to indicate pH 3 for instance).

A: The Root Farm pH test kit is designed for use in hydroponic systems and other water based growing systems. It is not recommend for testing soil pH.

A: You use 3 to 5 drops of the 30mL (1fl oz) Root Farm Ph Test Indicator solution per test vial.

A: Fill the test vial halfway with nutrient solution. Add 3-5 drops of Root Farm pH Test Indicator and shake vial to mix contents. Compare colour in vial to colour on Root Farm pH Test Indicator label to determine nutrient pH. This information should be found on the side of the box. We apologize if it was hard to find. Make sure to mix the nutrient solution and the test vial well to achieve the most accurate results.
