Not worth getting even at sale price after using a few days the pump system stopped working. Returned

Great Indoor Plant Growing!

Great product - well built and designed.
If any of the plant spots are empty, is sound like an aquarium, but you can add material in the pots to get rid of the sound.

Worked well until the pump quit after 4 days.

I bought this four days ago and the pump already has quit. Checked the lines and nothing is clogged. Unplug the hose from the pump itself and still no flow. I know there’s a return policy through Canadian Tire but I am not dumping out my plants and 22 L of water just to return it. I just switched to the Kratky method and we’ll see how it goes. Shame because the build quality is good on the structure itself. Next time I’ll know better and just get a tote and put holes in it for net pots like I always have before.

Q: I am curious as to how this system is cleaned? I have a similar 20 litre deep water culture system that needs to be thurougly flushed and rinsed with hot water every 7-10 days to prevent algae build up. Does it have a drain?
