Convenient if you by yourself

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought this for myself because there is never good help unless you pay them type of scenario, especially if there's a lot of set up time. I like the way you can adjust it for a good feeder action and clamp for your miter and router work.

not happy with this product

Rockler products are very good, however I bought two of these a few months ago and tried to use them as outfeed and infeed supports. They did not function well. The problem is they do not tighten up strong enough to support a board on an infeed table. They also do not lower quite enough in my opinion. The main problem is the jaws that clamp the work-piece, very weak and unstable. The stand will lean very easily either left or right. If I could return these two units I would.

Supports "marital bliss" with my spouse.

I have had this support stand for about 1-year. During that period, I reorganized my entire basement and added new cabinets. Hanging cabinets used to be very stressful when I needed a second pair of hands - and those belonged to my wife. Cutting to the chase, I used this work support tool to hold cabinets in place for mounting to the walls. What a breeze...and my wife is still smiling! This tool is indispensable in my workshop today. I wish I had bought one 40-years ago!

Not the best tool in the tool box

I bought the JawStand about 4 yrs ago to be an helping hand on different project. It is limited and unstable. However, It works great as an outfeed/infeed. That is if I needed one. Besides that, I really don't see a need for it. It does help place cabinets on the wall and sometimes hold my door vertically. Also, seems to be really great at collecting dust. I feel Rockwell could have done a lot better with this tool.
