Q: Once the clear coat is applied, does this make the floor slippery if a bit wet?

A: Almost all surfaces are slippery when wet; therefore RockSolid always recommends either broadcasting the chip or including the anti skid additive(or both) to provide the best slip resistance possible. For a nonslip coating finish use Rust-Oleum Epoxyshield Anti-Skid Additive. Do not mix Anti-Skid additive into the product. Broadcast the anti skid additive by grabbing small pinches between your index finger and thumb and throwing it up in the air over the wet coating as you go.

Q: How long after application of base coat can this be applied ? (24 hours) Alternatively, could the top coat be applied say 6 months after the base coat, as long as it was cleaned sufficiently? Any additional prep needed at that point?

A: When applying the RockSolid Polycuramine Clear Top Coat it can be applied after 24 hours, before 7 days of the Garage Coat System application.
