Nice design bright light can change sensitivity on app. Audio is great and pics go well. Night vision works perfectly. Works best when using ring app.

My Ring Floodlight Cams changed how I secure and monitor my property. Night visibility stays crisp, and motion alerts trigger instantly. I watch my dogs in the backyard (“Dog Town”), check that the yard crew shuts the side-gate, confirm package delivery, and track anyone approaching the front. The cams also catch neighborhood wildlife—especially coyotes—so I know when to bring my dogs in. The floodlights, alerts, and video history create real deterrence and accountability for deliveries, workers, and service crews. I would never go back to not having them. I have had these over five years so they are quite durable outside all the time. The solar panels also work great. I have 7 and only 1 has given me a problem. So overall these are really great!

Best Quality Floodlight Ever

The Floodlight Cam has great durability. It has lasted almost 9 years with no problems until now and they issued a replacement with no issues. It has easy installation and connects with the app easily. The video quality isn’t the best for today’s standards but the new ones are better.

A: No, these are LED units. They have a life span of 50,000 + hours. You will never need to replace the bulbs in your life time.

A: They are both very good products with different features and benefits. The Arlo system is battery-powered, which makes installation easier, but the battery performance suffers in very cold temperatures (i.e. -20C). The Ring floodlight has a much brighter light for outdoor lighting and it records in 1080p (versus 720p on the Arlo Pro product), so a slightly higher resolution on the Ring product. The Ring product is hard-wired, so it performs better in cold temperatures but it can be a more complicated installation.
