    Terrible product

Terrible Quality! After 2 years of light use the sleeping bag started leaking down and feathers through the fabric and seams. You wake up in the morning covered in feathers and the bag is no longer fit for cold weather. Contacted customer service and while the company claims to have a lifetime warranty they do not honor it. Absolute waste of money! Do not buy! I see that CT has discontinued the product. Good!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Ok bag

I've had this bag for a couple years, and have used it on numerous camping trips. It packs light and compresses small; the stuff sack is actually very good quality with compression straps and quick release. For +0 degree or more it's decent, although the down can shift and leave the odd cold spot. Definitely not a -7c bag. Zip and pulls are good, easy to use. I'm 6"1" 200 lbs and find it just right for size. Comfortable and nice look. Some down has come out but not a lot, about average. Price is a bit high, but I got mine on sale so keep an eye out.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent purchase even when not on sale

Pros: I was so happy with this bag, I bought two more (for my wife and son). I've used it in 39C weather (though with a leg sticking out# and was quite comfortable - it breathes well. I've also used it in 3C weather and was pleasantly warm - not cold at all other than my exposed nose. Though it says its 3lbs, the label on the bag says it is 1.18lbs - bags this light usually start at a much higher price #like $300#. Maybe they're including the weight of the ruck sack in the description - but I don't see that adding almost 2lbs to it. So... I weighed the back + ruck sack, and it came to 2lbs total! Awesomely surprised it was lighter than advertised by 1 full pound! It packs easy, and doesn't take up much space either. Both my wife and son love the bag as well and feel that the comfort it offers justifies the price. It was the first bag that I paid more than $30 for. I bought it, because I want it to be the last bag I own and after 3 seasons of owning it and using it almost every other weekend from spring to fall - I can see it lasting a long time. It still looks pretty much like the day I bought it - it holds up really well with the stitching and such, no repairs or tears for any of the bags I bought. As for the CONS: This is not a KELTY Pack! This is a Ridgeway by Kelty that has been licensed from KELTY Pack in name only by a company called Wenzel. It is not affiliated by KELTY Pack in anyway and therefore it is hard to locate care instructions and support online for it. #I just wanted to know how to wash the thing - and it took a lot of searching to find out how: Must be Frontload Machine Wash (sorry no top load washers#, Delicate Cycle, Machine Dry - Air Fluff - No Heat or Dry-clean. What's worse is that Wenzel does not list it on their website either so I had to call their number and deal with lousy support for 45 minutes! Overall Rating: I would still give this a 10 out of 10 on value to price alone #if I bought a competing bag for myself, wife and son, I would have spent $600 more) - it was worth the headache of finding out how to care for the product with the money I saved and the bonus of it being 1lb lighter than advertised. Good on Ridgeway Kelty by Wenzel for Canadian Tire!

    Yes, I recommend this product.
