Rhino Troll Reel

Good beginner trolling reel to start off with, though i wouldn't recommend purchasing this reel unless a) you will frequently be fishing off a boat b) you have a lot of patients. This reel can be difficult to use at times, I cant count on my own two hands how many times I've bird nested this reel. That being said do your research and learn how to cast and use this reel before making your purchase. This is a good quality trolling reel even though the price is low.

Q: Can I attach this to my old colasible fishing rod

A: I would recommend buying a trolling rod, i use an abu garcia which is designed for trolling, the flex on it is opposite to a spinning reel. Though you could get away with using a spinning rod but the worst can happen is your rod snaps.

A: The reel isn't likely as important as the fishing line you spool it with. If you have a strong enough fishing line on the reel, then the reel will likely work for shark fishing.
