Didn't work for me at all. I have a pair of rabbit ears that are more effective. I thought at the price point it would deliver more. My loss.

Does not work

My RCA OUTDOOR antenna died last night and I was happy to see how technology had advanced. Unpacked and set this up, pointing in the same direction as my old one and got 1 channel, but the signal was poor. Tried a different location and got 3 channels.
My old one got me 22 channels. This one is garbage. Returning.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: can I hook this antenna directly to my flat screen tv or do I need a converter box?

A: The antenna can be connected directly to the TV. It has a coax connection that can be screwed on to the TV coax input. You would have to adjust the input source in your TV settings to receive the antenna signals.
