[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that my son was wearing Rawling’s Velo matte batting helmet. He was actually hit in the head with a baseball from a pitch. This helmet 100% made such a difference in the protection. He avoided major injury. The hat wasn’t damaged either! He says it’s very comfortable to wear, feels sturdy and well built.

Strong and Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little helmet! After receiving this product, I gave it to my son who loves to spend his summers playing baseball with his friends. This helmet is very strong and durable and is especially perfect for rambunctious children! I really like that this helmet is adjustable, making it easy to get the perfect fit. Overall I would say that this is a very high quality helmet and really brings me a sense of peace knowing that my child is protected while wearing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I see or hear the word Rawlings it takes me back to my childhood days of games at the baseball fields. this is almost of historic brand in my opinion. They stand by their name and quality products are built to last. I loved the durability of this helmet, so it's no surprise we were thrilled to get this Rawlings Velo Matte Batting Helmet from Influenster in exchange for an honest opinion. It. Fits my nephew beautifully and is perfect for sports play at home, all the while giving the proper protection. I will continue using and recommending!

Q: I see it has dome fasteners. Does it come with a chin strap that attaches to those?

A: No the helmets do not come with chin straps. This change was made moving into 2020. So there is a chance that some instore / in warehouse inventory actually has a chinstrap on the helmet. But any helmets shipped from Rawlings moving forward will not have a chinstrap. They are sold separately. 0800110 is the CTR SKU #. ( RSC1 ) Hope this helps.
