Nice looking basket. It detaches for carrying. The attaching nuts had to be reinforced with washers as they pulled through the mounting brackets when tightening.

A: This basket mounts only to the handlebars but it is also easily removable to take along with you especially if you need to pick up a few things at the store.

Q: Is this carrier meant to have two pieces, or does it require the purchase of another fixture? I have seen a bracket described by other reviewers. I purchased this today and have no way to mount it to the bicycle.

A: Oh dear. Looks like the bracket for the basket you have purchased has disappeared from where it should have been attached in a plastic bag. I noticed that there were a couple of these baskets with parts missing when I was in the store. I searched through the pile until I found one that had all the required parts. Take the one you have back to the store and have it replaced. The bracket to attach the basket is fairly easy to mount. And the screws etc are provided.

Q: How do you secure the t-bar? I have the t-clip securely on my handle bar but the t- clip doesn't do anything. So the clip flips up.
