Product Details

The Raleigh 2-Bike Hitch Platform Rack provides a convenient and secure way to transport two bikes. This hitch rack includes wheel trays with ratcheting straps for stability and a low loading deck. The centre post has foam-padded ratcheting hooks to protect bike frames, and both the post and trays fold for compact storage. Compatible with 1-1/4" or 2" receivers, the rack includes an anti-wobble hitch pin and built-in locks to secure bikes and the rack to your vehicle.

Would work great on car or truck. Just not on RV

Was a decent rack just couldn't get it to work on the back of the RV with the spare tire on the back. It comes out on an angle which works for ground clearance. Only issue when it comes out on the angle it shortened the distance from the hitch when made the tire to close to fit a bike.

Driving down the road with just the hitch no bikes on it and lost half of it. I’m sure it was put together right but it could have been my fault. Not sure what happened just happy I didn’t have the bikes on.

Great instructions. Solid parts. Easy install. Highly recommend. No movement on the bike and my only issue is that you can't seem to remove the extra lock arm if you are only taking one bike.

Q: Instructions are not clear on installation of the stiffener plate. I'm assuming it rests on the receiver and the rack meaning the bike rack can't be removed without taking the plate off?

Q: Will this work on a jeep wrangler with the tire on back. ?

A: It may. The receiver bar extends out past my spare tire on my trailer. It extends out so the handle bars on the bike don’t hit the back of the vehicle and as long as you can get the handle bars on either side of the tire you may be ok. The tire supports are fully adjustable left and right for each bike.
