Tried it just see if it would help with visibility with winter driving, an it really works to keep my windshield clear of wet snow & water spray from other vehicles. My winshield wipers don't have work so hard to see the road. It also works even better with Rain-X Windshield washer fluid.

Makes the water just bead off. Also was good in the winter to minimize the dirty slush and road grime. I put on all the exterior windows including the side windows and the backup camera.

Q: Rain X & Detergent. Rain X is used to coat your windshield using a cloth, it cannot be mixed with windshield washer fluid? How does it stand up to repeated windshield washing using a fluid that contains a detergent?

Q: I have heard that one of the Rain-X products can be used in a pressure washer to be use on outside house windows. Is this true, which product of this line can be used in a pressure washer? Want to keep windows water stains and dust off windows.

A: Hello Vic66, thank you for your question. We have done some research through the Rain-X community and have not uncovered any qualified usage of Rain-X products used in pressure washers. Unfortunately, we are not aware of any Rain-X products that can be used successfully in pressure washers. Thank you again for your question.

Luckily we do also offer Rain-X Plastic Water Repellent Spray that can be used on provides a superior water beading coating on various plastics Acrylic as well as Lexan, Plexiglas, Perspex, Lucite and Polycarbonate.
