Good valve. Lever needs to be better attached.

Bought this valve to install on my new gas lawn mower. The valve itself is of high quality, works well and importantly does not leak (unlike the cheap plastic valves Canadian Tire sells). The only issue I have is that after two weeks, the lever with red end fell off why mowing and I have been unable to find. Frustrating as now I can't turn it on or off. If you buy this valve, be sure to use some lock tight or glue on the threads. Would have given this 5 stars if the lever had been better attached.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Does what it is supposed to, but...

This is the third I've bought, because the red lever is not securely tightened so easily vibrates out and gets lost. I end up buying replacement valves just to use the new red lever on my snowblower.
