Quikrete water stop cement

Worked wonders. Had a small leak at the base of our foundation. Applied, had a good rainfall afterwards and no water. Highly recommend

Wrong Product Recommended

I wanted to find a product to “parg” my outside and was told this was the product. I finished the outside and it looked awful so I called the company they were so helpful! I was just informed that it was the incorrect product that was recommended as this to stop leaks. I’m very disappointed with the worker at Canadian Tire who said he was knowledgeable.

Works great. You REALLY need to work fast as it hardens quickly. Only mix up small amounts at a time

Great product. It worked to seal up several openings in a foundation wall that was cut open for an electrical feed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I want to seal an outdated crawlspace vent, so it doesn't leak water. It's at grade, with brick on either side and concrete below. What would you recommend?

  • A: I'm NOT a Contractor. I would use a Bonding agent (liquid) slang word:milk. If you plan on joining your new cement to old. You can apply directly to the surface with a brush or mix with cement as You stir. If the area is constantly wet the Hydraulic cement will bond on wet surfaces and it will stop leaks.

  • A: I have no idea of the chemistry behind this product (you may have to contact the manufacturer for the right answer) but it has worked very well on our old, old basement (concrete) walls and I continue to recommend it.
