Quality 4-Pin Flat Plug

This 4-pin flat plug set is pretty expensive, but it's actually very nice. It uses the same scotch-lock type connections that pinch through the insulation of the wire to make contact with the copper inside. Not my favorite kind of connection, but if your out on the road needing to replace the plug, this one can be installed without wire strippers, crimpers, butt connectors, heat gun, etc., as long as you have a length of harness to connect it to. Seems to be well made, we'll see how long it lasts. Although not needed, the LED indicator lights are neat. The only negative I've found is the turn signal LED's don't flash with the signals. This could be because I have LED tail lights or it could be a faulty plug, I'm not sure. The LED indicator for park lights works.

Q: Can this product be used with 16 gauge wire or 14 gauge or both ?

A: The Quick Fix 4-wire can accept either gauge, but the 14 gauge will be a tight fit and harder to crimp.
