Lots of heat

Good heater, easy install. Used the built in thermostat that is available. Like all fan forced heaters it is a bit noisy.

Q: Does this item require a wall surface adapter?

A: It require a surface adaptor only when surface mounted. A recessed installation doesn't require a surface adaptor.

Q: How close can furniture/object be placed in front of this?

A: hi , the user's guide states , this unit must be installed at least 8 inches from any adjacent surfaces [ walls and floors]. however make sure flammable objects or furniture objects do not come in contact with the unit keep them at least 12 inches from them.This is what the user guide says.

Q: Does this have an on/off switch? I don't need a thermostat on it, I only want to turn it on while I use the bathroom and turn it off when I'm done.

A: The Pulsair wall fan heater does not have an ON/OFF switch. Stelpro recommends that all heaters be controlled by a thermostat, timer or other device that will eventually automatically stop the heating. We do not recommend controlling the Pulsair heater with a switch that could accidentally be left in the ON position resulting in wasted energy and money.

Q: Can this be installed on an external wall with vapor barrier and insulation touching the back box?

A: All materials that come into contact with the back-box of the heater must be able to withstand 90°C. Normally, this is not a problem for wood studs or insulation, but a vapour barrier could easily shrink away from the opening since it is a plastic film.

Q: Can you buy a thermostat to use with this unit instead of a wall mounted voltage thermostat. The one I am replacing has turn dial on the heater itself. Thanks

A: There is an option of having a built-in thermostat in the Pulsair model. RWFT1W (white) is the Stelpro part number for the built-in thermostat. We currently do not carry this at Canadian Tire.

A: The dimensions of the grill are 17 1/8” high by 8 11/16” wide by 13/16” thick. The dimensions of the back box are 14 9/16” high by 6 3/8” wide by 2 3/8” deep. I have attached the spec sheet for the Pulsair unit that includes all of the dimensions and specifications.
