Small, very durable, well made, great sound, can pair 2 together! Very budget friendly.

I wanted a cheap, portable Bluetooth speaker for working outside, so I picked one of these up on sale for $12.99. I didn’t expect much, but I was VERY impressed! The speaker is very well made and robust with a thick rubberized texture and a hard plastic shell. It is water resistant, and feels very heavy duty, making it perfect for outdoors. The built-in silicone carry strap is great for carrying, or attaching to a backpack or bag. The speaker itself is a little heavy due to the build quality, but it feels very durable in exchange for the portability.
The performance of the speaker itself is quite good. It is lacking in bass, but vocals are crystal clear, and the mid-range is pretty good. Works well for any type of music. I didn’t realize at first that you could pair two of these together for a wider sound, so I picked up a second one and paired them to one another. Absolutely great, basic Bluetooth speakers.
The Bluetooth range is very good, up to about 30-40 feet without any distortion. Battery life is also exceptional, lasting up to 15-20 hours before I need to recharge them. Unfortunately, they do NOT use a USB-C cable, but the older style micro-USB, which makes charging very, very slow. It can take several hours, up to an entire night to fully recharge, but the excellent battery life makes up for the slow charging speed.
Impressed with these overall for the price, but I would definitely recommend buying in a pair, so you can connect two together for a much richer, fuller sound.

Issues

Purchased today for just the radio function. For emergency reasons, wanted a rechargeable radio. Issue is must keep the charging cable with the speaker as it is it’s antenna and a better micro usb to usb cords don’t work. Stupid how the charging cord that comes with is only one that works as a antenna.

A: the chging port and usb port are under the rubber strip on rear top . grab little tab and pull and it will open.

A: Hi Mark, yes you can answer your phone while the speaker is in use. However, when you answer the phone music will pause and stop playing on the speaker until your phone call is completed.
