Q: Cargo Master Steel Mesh Loading Ramp, 040-3098 80". Instructions from China, No sense, read pg 2-4, remove tail gate, 4 safety, place on solid part of vech frame,so when "2feet"? place safety straps on " a rung" on it where is reflective safety label.
3 years agoA: Thanks for your comments. Two feet means the tongues (pre-assembled tips) of the ramp. Safety straps: Select a rung towards the top of the ramp and wrap safety strap around the rung. Slide the hook through the strap's loop and tighten it. Extend safety strap up into the inside of the truck bed, attach strap's hook to a secure attachement point on the truck chassis.

Q: What angle to they fold our to ? looks like 170 degrees maybe ? another way to say this is if you put the ramp on flat ground how high up is the middle from the ground.

Q: I want to use them year round instead of using steps into my shed (to roll my lawn mower in and out mainly), will they rust?
6 years agoA: The ramps are coated and painted with a quality black finish, rust will occur if the paint is scratched off, exposing bare metal. Unfortunately, unless you go to a treated product, you will likely encounter rust issues, simply due to bare material being exposed to the elements.
