Protect wood with Premier Exterior Wood Stain. This redwood-coloured solid wood stain is ideal for use on decks, fences, railings or wooden furniture, repelling weather and resisting cracking or peeling. The solid exterior stain features good colour retention, is wet abrasion resistant and provides excellent adhesion. This weather-resistant wood stain is low VOC and applies easily with an airless sprayer, pad applicator, roller or brush. It dries quickly and cleans up easily with soap and water.

A: hello Mike, Premier Active has two features that makes it superior to Premier. Low temperature application, it can dry in as low as 5c in a 24h period. Compared to 15c for Premier. Colour retention, so Premier Active will keep the colour pigmentation longer than Premier. thanks!

Q: Can you give me a link to show what the colours look like for Premier exterior semi-transparent stains? I can't find anything online that shows the colours on wood.

A: Hello bpasquill, Yes, our Premier Tintable Exterior wood stain in the semi-transparent finish can be tinted to a dark walnut colour. We actually have about 30 colours you may choose from. I would advise that you ask the expert at the paint counter to help pick the correct product as you may need a deep base (in store item 048-5905-6) depending on your colour choice. A: Onidas, We cannot say for sure as it depends on the sprayer itself. We recommend checking the sprayer recommendations and instructions for thinning requirements that were received when the item was purchased or rented.

Q: Does the cedar semi transparent Premium stain have an orange look to it, or is it more to the brown?

A: hello, to me it leans to brownish but colour is a subjective matter, so its a little tricky.

A: They come in 3 premix colours (redwood, walnut and cedar). They come also in +/- 30 colours from the solid stain colours selection. And they can also be tinted with any colours from our Premier Colour Wall. However, with this last option, we cannot guarantee a 100% colour matching.

A: Yes, no problem. This is a water-based exterior stain. Please let it dry completely for a few days before starting planting.
