Two toilets in house, both with this handle

This is the second toilet handle I’ve had to replace in my house. I have no clue why anyone would even make the interior arms on a toilet handle out of plastic. In both my instances what we had in our house was plastic, and it breaks down over time in the water/pulling on the chain. Very happy with this model because the price is decent and quality is much better than plastic

plastic retaining nut wouldn't come off the back of the handle. Broke while trying to back the nut from the handle itself prior to installing. INFERIOR PRODUCT!!!!!
