These chrome-plated fittings from PlumbShop make connecting pipes a cinch. Simply slide the straight compression fitting, with an outer diameter of 5/8-inch, over tubing with an outer diameter of 3/8-inch and tighten for a secure connection. No tools or plumber required - just twist these fittings onto your existing tubing for quick fixes or additions to any plumbing project around the house. Great for connecting new showerheads, faucets or any plumbing parts that require 3/8-inch tubing. Replaced Leaking Soldered Joint Successfully

This was used to replace a leaking soldered joint under a bathroom sink. It was a bit harder to get on tight (properly) than I am used to with compression fittings, but it did eventually get securely attached and no leaks.
