Just the right length

I replaced my kitchen faucet with a new one; however, the old one had been custom fit to reach the water connection on the floor under the sink. (Normally, the water connection comes up the back wall, which would have fit my new faucet perfectly.) I was short 3 inches, and don't have the plumbing skills to solder new connections, so I just extended the existing hoses. I made sure to use thread sealant tape, there aren't any leaks, and I saved paying for a plumber.
