My under-sink cabinet has some 1/2" shielded electrical cable running through the base that was installed later to power the dish washer. The hole is about an inch wide and never properly finished. This chrome flange can be installed around existing wiring - just what I needed. It now has a finished look and took just a matter of seconds to install.
