This Valve was installed to prevent backflow because it's for a cabin that's way up a hill. Seems to help to prevent backflow, but only if there is no air in the line. Because if there is any air in the line it will not stop it.

Q: Can this be used to prevent dirty water backflow ? Can this be used to prevent dirty water from my underground sprinkler system from contaminating my house potable water supply ? Do you have the manufacturer part number and installation instructions ? Thank you.
