Works like a charm. As a senior with arthritic wrists I’d never have the strength to use a traditional plunger. This one sucks up water and plunges it through with ease.

Bought this with high expectations but it was absolutely hopeless. Nearly 30 minutes of plunging and pumping and it did nothing. At one point it sprayed water out the top and side, I don't know if this was a defect or just poorly constructed but having gross water on my hands and face was enough for me to throw this straight into the trash. My girlfriend bought a standard but sturdy plunger, it dealt with the issue in less than a minute. Don't be fooled by this thing, get a normal plunger.

I had a bad clog that could not be cleared. First, I tried a traditional toilet plunger, then an accordion plunger but after more than an hour I could not unclog. I picked up this plunger and was not disappointed. It does take a few pumps to fill the cylinder and make the seal secure, but once you do it really gives a good blast and will unclog the problem. I had to use this twice and the second time I knew what to expect and it unclogged within a min a two. For cleaning, I detached the rubber and washed it with a bathroom cleaner. For the cylinder I used a bucket full of hot water and cleaner, I submerged it, pumped the fluid through it a number of times, then hung to dry.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A: No...but it is almost useless on double sinks or sinks with an overflow, unless you have another person blocking the other sink/overflow. Buy 1 second plumber instead.
