The Plum® Outdoor Portable Wooden Sandbox with Canopy provides a shaded spot for children to play under its adjustable canopy. The height of the white and blue striped sunshade can be set to different heights and angles throughout the day to ensure maximum shade protection. The sandbox and canopy are crafted from sustainably sourced FSC-certified timber. When not in use, the canopy lowers to cover the sand. Two wooden benches offer comfy seating as little ones play. Measuring roughly 117 centimeters on each side, this wood sandbox accommodates ages 3 and up.

Great Sandbox!

Not sure why this sandbox has such negative reviews. I was able to assemble it myself with no issues, did take me a couple hours but it went together pretty easily. A lot of the reviews say the wood is cheap but I didn't find at all, especially the bottom frame, the top canopy frame might be a little flimsy but honestly not a huge deal. Kids love it, love that it has seats and is quite large as well! Great sandbox! I did purchase it while it was discounted so that also makes the purchase worth it!

Great little sandbox

This sandbox was perfect for our son. He is two years old and absolutely loves it. The lid closes nice and tight and provides great shade during the day. We used 10 bags of play sand and thats perfect

The box is good but the canopy broke. So the whole purpose of having it covered or protected by the sun doesn't work on this. Too bad it's looks really great on the picture.

Not worth the money!

Not impressed! Boards were very rough and splintering. As small children are using it you’d think the manufacturer would ensure the boards were smooth! Fairly easy to put together but several holes were off and wouldn’t align. Very overpriced for the quality.

A: Hello and thank you for your answer. We would suggest 3 - 4 bags for the Plum Wooden Sandbox with Canopy. However other customers have said they used 6 bags, it depends how full you want it. Canadian Tire sell play sand in bags of 18kg.

A: The Plum Wooden Sandbox with Canopy is open to the ground. It is supplied with a protective floor cloth which prevents grass and weeds from growing through and allows water to drain through.
