This is a lovely mat! It works perfectly under my desk. It is already charcoal so it won't discolor from the tape on the floor (to cover loose flooring). And, my office chair rolls over it nicely.

A: Yes, but you would loose the little rubber lip that goes around the carpet, if that's a concern. I cut parts off to fit my entry way and a hole for my air vent with no issues.

A: Hello. Platinum charcoal mat is not machine washable; we recommend using garden hose set to the highest pressure to remove the stubborn dirt and hang dry. Thak you.
