I had rust on the end caps of my roof rack, so I cleaned them up, filled the ends and then dipped them 3 times each. Worked a charm. I used a yellow version to dip my power tool wrenches to make them easier to find and easier to grip.

Fixed my mitts

Painted the thumb of my winter mitts with the dip because the material was worn and cracked. Repeated the process a second time, and my mitts were good as new

Same product. Used it to recoat the arms on my sunglasses and other things. Better than spray if application allows it. Don’t forget masking tape if you need a clean break.

A: Yes, it will work on stainless steel and other metals. Just make sure it is well cleaned. I use rubber gloves to keep from getting any oils from my hands onto the item.

The product remains flexible and stretchy over time, and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions, -30°F to 200°F.
