    excellent inexpensive stereo upgrade

    i bought this stereo to replace my factory ford truck stereo as it was no longer working for me. this inexpensive Bluetooth stereo is great for what i was looking for.... i especially like the hands free phone feature !!

    Easy install, great product!

    I installed this unit in my 96 Mazda MPV using a universal car stereo harness/conversion kit. I started with matching coloured wires out of new stereo to corresponding wires in harness kit (this kit has the wires with notches already in the insulation covering making it easier to strip) - used butt connectors to splice wires. There were 3 wires in the universal harness that didn't have 'matches' on new stereo; capped ends off and zapped strapped them together. Before installing the new stereo, removed negative terminal from battery. Connected adapters from harness kit to existing vehicle connectors and antenna plug AND the microphone plug for the hands free feature. Fed the wire down through the radio console, under the steering column and mounted microphone on top of steering column in front of instrument panel. New stereo fit like a glove in the existing spot, no cutting etc required. Job took approx. 1 hr from start to finish. New stereo requires a few minutes for initial set up - radio presets etc. but super easy to deal with (videos even on line to help). Also comes with a little remote control. Super pleased with this little stereo, great sound quality considering it is in a 20 yr old vehicle and being able to 'upgrade' the vehicle to BT was AWESOME!!
