Q: I want to install this in an off grid camp and I want to know if this receiver will connect to a portable bluetooth speaker?

A: Disregard my previous answer. Apparently this head unit does not have a headphone jack. You could still add an external BT transmitter via the wiring harness but that involves more technical work and it's not a plug-and-play solution

Q: Is this stereo dimmable with the vehicle interior light controls ? or would it have a brightness option to manually change ?

A: Brightness setting is on the stereo itself it is not dimmable via the dimmer control on your vehical however it dose have a auto dimming featuer where you can set a time for the stereo to dim the display down to a user set level

A: More than likely yes but you will need to purchase a face plate adapter for the year and model and an adapter to plug in the wire components

Not really satisfied

I bought this a few months ago for my truck. Installed it, and a few days later it started glitching. Couldnt adjust the volume, or time, or equalizer settings its like the knob has a mind of its own. Defaults back to the clock when you try to get into the menu. Only way i have found to get it to stop glitching is to take it out of the dash, unplug it, and plug it back in.. also, I dont like the fact it has to run through an app on your phone to play music from your phone. The handsfree calling doesnt work either (yes the external mic is plugged into the mic port on the back). Im well passed 90 days with it, so im going to probably buy something different, and try to sell this one online, or take it to value village.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Terrible return policy on defective radio. I was surprised at Canadian Tire's return policy after ten days, I brought the radio to the Moncton store for a refund and was given a gift card that expires in one year. I was told when I purchased the radio there was a 90 day return refund if defective. The Girl at the customer service desk was ignorant and argumentative. This is not the Canadian tire I grew up knowing. NEVER WILL I SHOP AT CT. AGAIN

Do not buy if you want bluetooth

Not impressed, you MUST download a broken app to make the stereo work. it will not connect to spotify at all, and keeps playing one of my system notifications(on repeat) as the only music on my phone. All I really wanted was working bluetooth which it doesent have if you have to download an app.
